An agitator assembly for attachment to a topdresser for applying the topdressing material to the ground and dispersing the material from the upper levels of the grass blades to the ground comprises a driving means; an agitator bar; an agitator support; and an agitator. The agitator is supported along a first longitudinal side by the agitator support while the opposite longitudinal side contacts an underlying terrain with a degree of freedom to move in a vertical direction between the two longitudinal sides. The agitator support is mounted on the agitator bar. The driving means drives the agitator bar in a substantially horizontal plane parallel to the underlying terrain and the agitator bar in turn drives the agitator support and the agitator, whereby the agitator levels and agitates the topdressing material dispensed by the topdresser from the turf surface to the ground level.
Un mélangeur assemblé, destiné à être couplé à un distributeur aux fins d'épandage en surface d'une substance depuis l'extrémité supérieure des brins d'herbe jusqu'au sol. Le mélangeur est constitué d'un dispositif de commande, d'une barre, d'un support et d'un mélangeur. L'un de ses côtés repose sur le support, l'autre côté se trouvant sur le sol, les deux côtés offrant une certaine liberté de mouvement sur le plan vertical. Le support du mélangeur est posé sur la barre.
