ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A rotary transmission apparatus having a pair of cylinder and piston devices pivotally mounted on the sides of a crank case, each having their piston rod drivably connected to a crank shaft rotatably mounted in the crank case. The crank shaft has, at one end, output drive means and at the other end, an extension shaft which includes a pair of arms each terminating in a roller for en- gagement with a cam on each of a pair of valves, each valve con- trolling the flow of fluid to the cylinder of each of the cylinder and piston devices to effect rotation of the crank shaft and out- put drive means connected thereto.
