ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a torque wrench (1, 2) with an electronic measuring system that picks up a prevailing torque moment by means of wire strain gauges, with a memory for storing the measured values, and a display that indicates the minimum or maximum values that have been achieved by means of LEDs (5, 6, 7) of different colours. In order to permit the torque wrench to be used advantageously during routine work in which it is important to maintain a torque moment precisely, the present invention proposes that a measured value can be stored by operating an operating button (8) that also serves to activate the torque wrench (1, 2). (Principle figure 1)
