Today's technology we are seeing many advancements in our daily operations. Computer screens are becoming "touch screen" manufactured instead of standard CRTs. Touch screens are used in Point of Sale operations, Personal Digital Assistants, and various other mediums. My invention, I am seeking a patent for is called "touch savers", a covering for the fingertip to protect against fingertip fatigue and soreness. Repeatedly touching the screen over time can cause these symptoms for touch screen users. Users of telephone operations as in a call center or courier delivery drivers who rely on a touch pad to enter information can also benefit from this product. The "touch savers" are made of a material that covers the finger to the first knuckle. The tip of the invention is small enough to mirror the same size as the fingertip touch itself. There are benefits to my product idea that serve a healthy purpose as well. Touch screens are usually used by many individuals that may share the same screen, causing a concern for the spread of bacteria and germs amongst each other. My product promotes safe hygiene and protects the user from potential virus or sickness. Everything we touch is a potential cesspool of bacteria. This product serves two important needs, comfort and protection. I have searched the CIPO database for patents and trademarks for similar products and or trademarks and found zero results.
