A hands-free, touchless leaf collection apparatus working in conjunction with an external blower for propelling yard waste into a hopper mounted behind a horizontally-laid funnel-shaped housing, said hopper mountable to a vacuum-- shredder apparatus. The hopper is continuously loaded with yard waste which, when accumulated into the hopper, is vacuumed, shredded and expelled by the vacuum-shredder apparatus into a perforated bag. The funnel-shaped housing further comprises two frontal wings that increase the apparatus leaf collection catchment area. The apparatus is collapsible, light-weight and low-cost and eliminates manual contact with yard waste, reduces leaf volumes and saves transport time and costs.
