A tour guide cabinet for a coach comprises a cabinet body having a rear portion resting upon a seat frame of the coach and a front portion having a bottom surface resting upon the floor of the coach forwardly of the seat. The front and rear portions each defining an upper surface spaced upwardly of the seat and arranged to define at least one storage compartment therein for receiving tour guide materials. The cabinet body has a width so as to overlie only one half of a double seat leaving the other part for the tour guide. A shelf extends from the cabinet body outwardly to one side. The front portion includes a storage cabinet with a drawer underneath the bottom surface of the rear portion and forwardly of the seat. The bottom surface of the rear portion includes a clamp to engage onto the seat frame with the cushion removed. The upper surface of the rear portion includes a part thereof extending rearwardly beyond a rear edge of the bottom surface of the rear portion with a rear edge of the part being curved in plan view so as to follow a contour of a seat back cushion of the seat.
Une armoire de guide touristique dans un autocar comprend un corps d'armoire ayant une partie arrière appuyée sur un bâti de siège de l'autocar et une partie avant ayant une surface inférieure appuyée sur le plancher de l'autocar à l'avant du siège. Les parties avant et arrière définissent chacune une surface supérieure espacée du siège vers le haut et arrangée de manière à définir au moins un compartiment de rangement pour y déposer du matériel de guide touristique. Le corps de l'armoire a une largeur calculée pour occuper seulement la moitié d'un siège double, laissant l'autre partie pour le guide touristique. Sur un côté du corps de l'armoire, une tablette s'étend vers l'extérieur. La partie avant comprend un bloc de rangement avec tiroir sous la surface inférieure de la partie arrière et à l'avant du siège. La surface inférieure de la partie arrière comporte une pince qui se met en prise sur le bâti du siège une fois le coussin enlevé. La surface supérieure de la partie arrière comporte une partie s'étendant vers l'arrière au-delà du bord arrière de la surface inférieure de la partie arrière, le bord arrière de la partie présentant une courbe vue en plan qui suit le contour du coussin du dossier.
