ABSTRACT The present invention provides a wheel-lift attachment of the rigid fork variety which is adapted to replace the sling lift apparatus of a conventional tow truck. The wheel-lift attachment comprises rigid connecting means rigidly attachable to the boom of a tow truck and wheel support means pivotably connected to the rigid connecting means. The present invention allows operators of service stations and small towing companies the opportunity to economically convert their existing light duty towing equipment to wheel lift-type equipment capable of handling most passenger cars and light duty trucks.
