A derrick, especially a drilling rig derrick, including a derrick structure and lifting tackle for a load, for example, a drill string, in the derrick structure. The lifting tackle includes guideways in parallel relation which each includes a vertical main guide rail (4, 7), a storage guide rail (5, 8) parallel thereto, and in a lower portion of the derrick a connecting guide portion (6, 9) between the two said rails, a rack (10, 11), slidably arranged in each guideway, which racks (10, 11) are divided into successive, preferably hingedly interconnected rack segments (12, 13) designed to bear against one another when the rack (10, 11) or when a part thereof is in the vertical main guide rail (4, 7), the main guide rail (4, 7) being designed for horizontal support of the rack segments (12, 13), a load-bearing yoke (22) supported on the racks (10, 11) in the respective vertical main guide rails (4, 7), and a driving gear (25) including a driving gearwheel (26, 27, 28) in driving engagement with the racks (12, 13) in the respective vertical guide rails (4, 7).
L'invention concerne une tour de forage, notamment une tour d'installation de forage, comprenant une structure tour de forage et un palan de levage destiné à lever une charge, un train de tiges par exemple, à l'intérieur de ladite structure. Le palan comporte des systèmes de guidage parallèles, dont chacun comprend un rail de guidage principal vertical (4, 7), un rail de guidage de stockage (5, 8) parallèle au premier rail, et, dans la partie inférieure de la tour, une partie de guidage de liaison (6, 9) disposée entre les deux rails. Le palan comprend également une crémaillère (10, 11), disposée coulissante dans chaque rail et divisée en segments (12, 13) successifs, qui sont de préférence interconnectés par une charnière et conçus pour porter les uns sur les autres quand la crémaillère (10, 11) ou une partie de celle-ci se trouve dans le rail de guidage principal (4, 7), ce dernier étant conçu pour supporter horizontalement lesdits segments (12, 13). Le palan comprend aussi un étrier porteur (22), disposé sur la crémaillère (10, 11) dans le rail de guidage principal correspondant (4, 7), et une roue menante (25), comportant une roue dentée (26, 27, 28) en contact avec les segments (12, 13), qui entraîne ces derniers dans le rail de guidage vertical correspondant (4, 7).
