TITLE: T O W E R C R A N E ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The revolving tower crane has a tower framework composed of several superimposed tower elements which are detachably joined together. The tower elements have a roughly equilateral polygonal cross section and consist of vertical longitudinal bars and of transverse and/or diagonal bars extending transversely thereto. The tower elements consist of several separate plane framework elements with at least two longitudinal bars in each case. The longitudinal bars of adjacent framework elements extend next to one another in pairs in the polygon corner regions and are non-rotatably but detachably attached by their ends to a respective intermediate element which is arranged between adjacent tower elements and is common to the framework elements . Tower elements of this type can be produced simply and have a small volume for transportation.
