ABSTRACT In a process system for the overland transmission of natural or other gas, a fabric reinforced gas inflated polymer film tube is used with or without parallel support in rope in a suspension bridge inter-linked series between metal transmission towers, with gas transmission velocity maintained by gas compressor stations at appropriate distances apart. The system is not unlike that employed by hydro-electric corporations in transmitting high voltage electric power for long distances with an extraordinarily high tensile strength gas tube substituted for the power lines.
