THE SYSTEM IS NOT UNLIKE THAT EMPLOYED BY HYDRO-ELECTRIC CORPORATIONS IN TRANSMITTING HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRIC POWER FOR LONG DISTANCES, WITH AN EXTRA-ORDINARILY HIGH TENSILE STRENGTH GAS TUBE SUBSTITUTED FOR THE POWER LINES.
