- 21 - TOWING DOLLY ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The towing dolly is mounted on a pair of wheels with a tow bar extending forwardly to a hitch attachable to a tractor, truck or the like. A parallelogram linkage assembly extends upwardly from the axle and supports a plat- form in which a suitable engaging bracket may engage. This bracket receives the axle of the vehicle being towed such as another tractor, combine or the like and is detachably se- cured to the bracket. The platform can be moved hydraulic- ally from a lowered loading position to a raised towing po- sition under which circumstances the load is supported sub- stantially vertically above the dolly axle. A detachable brace component extends between the tow bar and the platform to brace same when in the towing position and to restrain rearward movement of the platform during towing operation.
