A toy block and connector set requiring a minimal force of about three pounds to engage and disengage blocks from the connectors. The different shaped blocks all share a common thickness and the different shaped connectors all have two parallel walls spaced from one another. Each wall has several protrusions extending from each wall's inner surface. The distance between the two walls is about the same dimension as the thickness of the blocks and the protrusions extend about 0.20 inches from the inner surfaces of the connectors. When engaged the connector walls flex about two degrees. In addition to requiring minimal force to engage and disengage the blocks and connectors, the set is simply constructed and inexpensive, easy to manipulate and resistant to breakage.
