TRACK LIGHTING ADAPTER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An adapter for electrically and mechanically attaching a lighting fixture to a lighting track which utilizes a body having first and second end portions. The first end portion of the body connects to the lighting track while the second end portion of the body holds the lighting fixture. The body includes a pair of conductors which are each held in a chamber formed by a recess in the body and a door connected to the body. One of the conductors is movable such that it extends further from the body than the other conductor which is compatible with a two circuit lighting track.
