A track maintenance machine is equipped with a soundproofing wall (10) adjustable relative to the machine frame (4) by means of drives. The soundproofing wall (10) comprises an upper and lower end (8) as well as two lateral ends (9), spaced from one another with respect to a longitudinal direction of the machine, which connect the upper to the lower end (8). The lower end (8) is formed by a flexible lower soundproofing section (11), consisting of elastic material, which has an upper end (12) spaced from the lower end (8) and connected to a rigidly formed upper soundproofing section (13).
