Abstract of the Disclosure A wheel for carrying a track of a crawler vehicle comprises a hub; an annular rim; first and second spaced panels each connecting the hub to the rim; a plurality of first plates each having first and second ends and oppositely extending flanges on the first end, the flanges each being con- nected to a respective one of the first and second panels and each second end being connected to the hub with the first plates positioned at spaced locations; and a plurality of second plates each having first and second ends and oppositely extending flanges on the first end, the flanges being connected to a respective one of the first and second panels and each second end being connected to the rim with the second plates being positioned at spaced locations, the flanges of the second plates being a greater distance from the hub than the flanges of the first plates, and the second plates being arcuately spaced from the first plates.
