The invention relates to a tracked vehicle having smooth driving and idler wheels 6, 7, 8 and 9, respectively, which frictionally transmit the tractive force to tracks 3, 4, in particular to rubber tracks, and which are mounted by means of a frame 3 which carries at least one driving engine 11. The essence of the invention consists in the fact that, to avoid the slipping of the tracks on the driving and idler wheels, both the two front idler wheels 6, 7 and the two rear idler wheels 8, 9 are driven in each case (Fig. 1).
