A device which uses the force of gravity to provide traction, as well as partial weight transfer onto various supports (head rest, back rest, pelvic support). The device allows the user to get into a relaxed position while providing lower vertebral traction. Traction is obtained by relieving the vertebrae and discs of the pressure exerted by the weight of the upper body (the thorax being corseted) and by the suspension of the pelvis.

L'appareil permet à l'utilisateur l'adoption d'une position de relaxation engendrant l'élongation du bas de la colonne vertébrale. L'élongation est obtenue en soulageant les vertèbres et les disques de la pression exercée par le poids de la partie supérieure du corps (le thorax étant enserré dans un corset), ainsi que par la traction due à la suspension du bassin.
