-14- TRACTOR HITCH ABSTRACT An attachment for coupling a drawbar to a tongue is mounted on the underside of the drawbar. It includes a draw pin arm pivoted at the front end to the drawbar and carrying a draw pin at its rear end. To pivot the draw pin arm between released and set positions, it is equipped with a lifting link pivotally connected to the arm and connected slidably to the drawbar. Sliding movement of the link along the drawbar lifts or lowers the draw pin arm and hence the draw pin. When the sliding connection reaches its limiting point with the draw pin set, an automatic lock drops into place to prevent release of the hitch until the operator deliberately releases the lock.
