A tractor hitch engageable and disengageable by an operator without leaving a tractor seat (62) includes an upwardly and inwardly tapering cam (A) carried by a tractor (10) at three-point hitch locations for engagement between inwardly extending marginal guides (C) integral with a complementary substantially wedge shaped cam follower (B) carried by an implement (16). The method includes positioning the cam (A) below the cam follower (B) and then lifting the cam (A) by raising hydraulic lift arms (D) carried by the tractor (10) exerting a guiding action between the cam (A) and the cam follower (B) bringing them into interlocking relation for thereafter automatically engaging a latch (E) dislodgement of the cam (A) from the cam follower (B) as during transport of the implment (16) may be avoided.
Un opérateur peut atteler un outil à ce crochet d'attelage, ou l'en dételer, sans avoir à quitter le siège (62) du tracteur, ce crochet comprenant une came (A) effilée vers l'intérieur et vers le haut, portée par le tracteur (10) au moyen d'une fixation à trois points et destinée à s'emboîter entre des glissières latérales (C) s'étendant vers l'intérieur et solidaires d'une contre-came (B) complémentaire, essentiellement en forme de coin, portée par un outil (16). Le procédé de l'invention consiste à placer la came (A) sous la contre-came (B), puis à soulever la came (A) par levage hydraulique au moyen de leviers (D) portés par le tracteur (10) en exerçant une action de guidage entre la came (A) et la contre-came (B) afin de les enclencher l'une dans l'autre de manière à ensuite emboîter automatiquement un loquet (E), ce qui permet d'éviter le dégagement de la came (A) à partir de la contre-came (B), comme lors du transport de l'outil (16).
