ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A wheel rim for an agricultural tractor has a central, drum-like cylindrical portion with inwardly projecting circumferential ridges and driver lugs on the ridges to engage clamps on the tractor hub, and outer generally cylindrical or frusto-conical portions, to receive the bead part of the tire, of substantially greater diameter, namely 5-7 inches greater, than the central portion. Frusto-conical integral intermediate portions join the central portion to the respective outer portions. The arrangement allows a tractor to take a larger tire size, for increased torque, without the necessity of changing all the wheel clamping arrangements on the tractor hub to accommodate a larger rim. The design of frusto-conical intermediate portions also enhances the radial strength of the rim.
