A system for transmitting composite traffic data over Digital Audio Broadcasting channels. The composite data is fused from a plurality of raw traffic data streams pertaining to different road sections. When received, the composite data can be displayed as a road map coded with different colours for different traffic speeds. Additional weather and tourism data can be combined with the traffic data for being presented on a common display at the receiving end.
