Traffic element with illumination, at least comprising an element body (15) having a transparent plastic component (3) which comprises illumination means (4) encapsulated by the plastic of the component, which transparent plastic component (3) is fabricated by casting a preferably resilient multicomponent plastic in a closed mould. Examples of traffic elements are kerbs, traffic island elements, roundabout elements, a road surface etc. Traffic elements according to the invention are experienced as light-emitting elements.
L'invention concerne un élément de signalisation à éclairage, se composant au moins d'un corps (5) à composant en plastique transparent (3) doté d'un moyen d'éclairage (4) encapsulé dans le plastique du composant. On fabrique ledit composant en plastique transparent (3) en coulant dans un moule fermé un plastique résilient à composant multiples. Lesdits éléments de signalisation peuvent être, par exemple, des bordures, des éléments d'îlots séparateurs, des éléments de rond-point, un revêtement de route. Les éléments de signalisation de l'invention sont été testés en tant qu'éléments électroluminescents.
