ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE A traffic signal having sequentially actuated lights wherein each light includes coloured lens means formed with perforations extending therethrough and arranged in a predetermined pattern whereby light trans- mitted through the perforations differs in colour from the light trans- mitted through the non-perforated areas of the lens means facilitating recognition of the signal by providing a constantly changing light pattern to motorists approaching the signal. The invention is particularly useful for colour-blind persons or persons who have impaired vision.
