The primary sources of electrical energy in Ontario are from hydroelectric and nuclear sources. The OPG web site (www.opg.com) indicates that alternative energy sources are being researched in the areas of solar, wind and biogas plants. The energy produced by vehicles travelling along our roads has yet to be captured for the generation of electrical energy. This patent application describes one means of capturing this energy for the purpose of heating homes and buildings in the vicinity of the generator site.
