A trailer arrangement (40) in combination with a tractor (10) to transport wheeled vehicles (T1, T2) over a highway, in compliance with current state and federal regulatory requirements and with a view toward future modification of those requirements. The arrangement includes a connector (36) for coupling a tractor bed (12) to the trailer. A trailer gooseneck (42) is coupled to the connector.
