ABSTRACT A trailer hitch comprising clamping means for clamping the hitch to bumper structural support structures on opposite sides of the end of an automobile, a bar extending between the clamping means, tongue extending outwardly from a central portion of the bar, below the bar, adjustable support means connecting the tongue to the bar, for fixing the tongue at a selectable height below the bar, clamping means extending upwardly from the tongue for clamping the tongue to the bumper structural member of the car, and means for attaching a trailer draw bar to the outer end of the tongue.
