A trailer (10, 10') is comprised of a pivotal frame (11, 40) having opposed spaced part side frame members (14, 41). A pair of wheels (15, 42) is connected to the pivotal frame. Each wheel of the pair of wheels is secured to a respective wheel axle (16, 45) connected to a respective one of the side frame members with the axles aligned on a straight wheel support axis (18, 46). The side frame members are pivotally connected at a rear end portion thereof, behind the wheel support axis, to a respective side of a support platform (19, 39) by a pivot connection (20, 51). The pivot connection is disposed on a straight pivot axis located rearwardly and parallel to the straight wheel support axis. The pivotal frame is connected to the platform by removable connections (22, 52) disposed forwardly of the straight wheel support axis. By causing the pivotal frame to move upwardly in a front end thereof, the rear end of the platform will be lowered towards the ground surface as well as the front end thereof whereby to facilitate placing objects onto the platform (19, 39) without having to contend with the towing height of the platform.
Remorque (10, 10') comprenant un châssis pivotant (11,40) muni d'éléments latéraux écartés et opposés (14, 41). Deux roues (15, 42) sont raccordées au châssis pivotant. Chaque roue est fixée à un axe respectif (16, 45) raccordé à l'un des éléments latéraux, les axes étant alignés sur un axe de support de roues rectiligne (18, 46). Les éléments de châssis latéraux sont raccordés de manière à pivoter à une partie d'extrémité arrière, derrière l'axe de support, sur un côté respectif d'une plate-forme de support (19, 39), à l'aide d'une connexion à pivot (20, 51). Celle-ci est placée sur un axe à pivot rectiligne situé à l'arrière de l'axe de support de roues et en parallèle par rapport à ce dernier. Le châssis pivotant est raccordé à la plate-forme par des raccords amovibles (22, 52) placés à l'avant de l'axe de support. Le déplacement vers le haut de l'extrémité avant du châssis pivotant provoquera la descente vers le sol de l'extrémité arrière de la plate-forme ainsi que de l'extrémité avant de façon à faciliter le placement d'objets sur la plate-forme (19, 39) sans avoir à s'occuper de la hauteur de remorquage de la plate-forme.
