A trailer with articulated rear bogie. The said bogie has a forward part movably mounted on a pivot which extends vertically under the trailer. The bogie also has a block whose upper surface includes a curved groove of limited length. The block is positioned aft of the pivot and receives into its groove a vertical rod affixed to the bottom of the trailer so as to limit the pivoting movement of the bogie. The trailer has a locking device to hold the block so as to prevent the bogie from pivoting freely and a control device to engage the lock when the trailer is driven in reverse and to disengage the lock at all other times. Thus, when the trailer is driven in reverse, the bogie is immobilized, which allows the trailer to back up normally like conventional trailers.

Une remorque avec un bogie arrière articulé. Ce bogie a une partie avant librement fixée à un pivot qui s'étend verticalement sous la remorque. Le bogie a aussi un bloc dont la surface supérieure est pourvue d'une fente courbée de longueur limitée. Le bloc est positionné derrière le pivot et reçoit dans sa fente une tige verticale solidaire du dessous de la remorque afin de limiter le mouvement de pivotement du bogie. La remorque possède un dispositif de blocage pour retenir le bloc de sorte à empêcher le bogie de pivoter librement et un dispositif de contrôle pour activer le blocage lorsque la remorque recule et pour désactiver le blocage autrement. Ainsi, lorsque la remorque recule, le bogie est maintenu dans une position fixe, ce qui permet d'effectuer les manoeuvres usuelles de conduite arrière comme avec une remorque traditionnelle .
