A training apparatus configured for skating-type sports whereon a user can perform training, exercising, strength-ening and conditioning while wearing footgear designed for use in skating-type sports. The training apparatus comprises a pair of interconnected opposed matching elongate platforms extending backward and away from each other preferably at an angle equal to or less than 90°. Each platform is provided with an abrasion-resistant exercise surface assembly configured to slidingly communicate with and to controllably engage and disengage a user's footgear. Each platform is provided with a controllably pivotable and lockable foot stop assembly. The training apparatus is provided with an electronic device configured to measure, monitor, record and report at least one of a user's vital signs and a physical performance criterion associated with skating-type motions and activities. The training apparatus is optionally provided with a vertically adjustable knee brace apparatus.
La présente invention vise un appareil d'entraînement configuré pour des sports de patinage sur lequel un utilisateur peut s'entraîner, s'exercer, travailler en force et se mettre en condition tout en portant des chaussures conçues pour les sports de patinage. L'appareil d'entraînement comprend une paire de plates-formes allongées, assorties, opposées et reliées entre elles qui se prolongent vers l'arrière et sont écartées l'une de l'autre de préférence à un angle inférieur ou égal à 90°. Chaque plate-forme est dotée d'une surface d'exercice résistante à l'abrasion configurée pour communiquer de façon coulissante avec les chaussures d'un utilisateur et pour s'engager et se dégager de façon contrôlée desdites chaussures. Chaque plate-forme est dotée d'un ensemble de butée de pied qui peut être pivoté et bloqué de façon contrôlée. L'appareil d'entraînement est doté d'un dispositif électronique configuré pour mesurer, contrôler, enregistrer et consigner au moins un des signes vitaux d'un utilisateur et un critère de performance physique associé aux mouvements et activités de patinage. L'appareil d'entraînement est doté en option d'un appareil d'attelle de genoux verticalement réglable.
