The present invention provides an apparatus for training the disabled and motionally handicapped persons with different types of walking movements (natural walking, ski walking, stair walking, etc.). Preferably the device, according to the invention, will provide a movement with an approximated natural walking, stair walking or skiing movement with a motorised device. Such relevant movements can also be provided with a device according to the invention which is adapted for muscular controlled exercise for walking movement. The apparatus also comprises a seating device, such as a chair for straightening up the back of diabled persons from a seated position to a standing position.
