A training dummy (20) in human form that mimics realistic human movements, and reaction to forces extended onto the dummy by a user, and including a torso (26) having at least one upper arm attachment point (36) with an XY & Z axis, at least one upper arm (38) fastened to the torso (26) at the at least one upper arm attachment point, capable of rotating about the X axis, and pivoting about the XY & Z axis of the upper arm attachment point (36). A returning means (110) securely attached to the dummy for returning the upper arm, and torso back to their initial positions after having a twisting, restraining, or striking force exerted upon the dummy. A counterbalancing means (116) attached to the torso for counterbalancing a force applied to the dummy. The dummy is suspended from the counterbalancing means (116) which tends to return the dummy to an upright position if the dummy is taken down to the floor.

L'invention concerne un mannequin (20) d'entraînement à forme humaine qui imite avec réalisme les mouvements et les réactions de la personne humaine sous les impulsions correspondantes transmises au mannequin par l'utilisateur. Ce mannequin comprend un torse (26) présentant au moins un point (36) d'articulation de bras selon un axe XY & Z, au moins un bras (38) articulé au torse (26) en ce ou ces points d'articulation, à la fois capable de tourner autour de l'axe X et de pivoter par rapport à l'axe XY & Z dudit ou desdits points (36).
