The invention relates to a stanchion. The said stanchion comprises a portal structure consisting of upper and lower beams and vertical members separating contiguous openings (10), the plane of each opening containing a balance beam hanging from a bracket. The said stanchion is distinctive in that each balance beam is comprised of two components (14a, 14b) articulated about an axis (15), the lower component (14a) being connected at its lower end to a control linkage (20) mounted so that it can slide along the lower beam (12), and the upper end of the upper component (14b) being fitted with a stop device (21) sliding along a control rod (22) that extends parallel to the upper beam (11). The invention is useable for stanchions.

L'invention concerne un cornadis. Ce cornadis est constitué du type comportant un portique qui comprend des longerons supérieur et inférieur et des montants qui délimitent des ouvertures (10) juxtaposées, le plan de chaque ouverture contenant un balancier suspendu à un support. Ce cornadis est caractérisé en ce que chaque balancier est constitué de deux éléments (14a, 14b) articulés autour d'un axe (15), l'élément inférieur (14a) étant relié à son extrémité inférieure à une tringle de commande (20) montée pour coulisser le long du longeron inférieur (12), et l'extrémité supérieure de l'élément supérieur (14b) étant munie d'un clapet (21) coulissant le long d'une tige de commande (22) qui s'étend parallèlement au longeron supérieur (11). L'invention est utilisable pour des cornadis.
