The invention relates to a training projectile for an automatic rapid-fire weapon. Said training projectile (1) has a central channel (4) running therethrough which accommodates a propellant charge (6) in the rear area of the projectile (1) and is closed at the rear by a detonator charge (7) for the propellant charge (6). The training projectile and weapon barrel are configured in such a way that no live ammunition can be fired from said weapon barrel. The channel which is open at the projectile tip is preferably used during the firing of the training projectile to receive a mandrel (28) of a gas choke (22) which is mounted in the weapon barrel (21). The propulsion gases which escape through the opening (8) at the projectile tip propel the training projectile backwards towards the weapon bolt and expel said projectile from said bolt of the rapid-fire weapon. The bolt is simultaneously primed for the next shot.
L'invention concerne un projectile d'exercice destiné à une arme à feu automatique à cadence de tir élevée. Ce projectile d'exercice (1) comporte un canal (4) central, traversant, qui loge, dans la zone du culot du projectile (1), une charge propulsive (6) et qui est fermé, au niveau du culot, par une charge d'amorce (7) destinée à allumer la charge propulsive (6). Le projectile d'exercice et l'arme à tube pouvant tirer ce projectile sont conçus pour que de la munition réelle ne puisse pas être tirée à partir de ladite arme à tube. De préférence, le canal, qui est ouvert au niveau de la pointe du projectile d'exercice, est destiné, lors du tir de ce dernier, à recevoir une broche (28) d'un limiteur de gaz (22) monté dans l'arme à tube (1). Le projectile d'exercice est, par les gaz propulseurs sortant par l'ouverture (8) se trouvant au niveau de la pointe de l'obus, propulsé vers l'arrière, en direction de la culasse, puis éjecté de celle-ci qui est simultanément réarmée pour un nouveau coup.
