It is intended to provide a novel means of treating cancer whereby cancer cells are destroyed by inducing apoptosis exclusively therein. Namely, a transcriptional factor for inducing apoptosis in cancer cells which comprises p53 or a p53 mutant having deletion, substitution or addition of one to several amino aids in p53 and clathrin heavy chain. This transcriptional factor enhances the transcription ability of p53AIPI promoter and thus induces apoptosis in cancer cells.
La présente invention a trait à un nouveau moyen de traitement du cancer par la destruction de cellules cancéreuses en y induisant de manière exclusive l'apoptose. En particulier, l'invention a trait à un facteur transcriptionnel pour induire l'apoptose dans des cellules cancéreuses comportant la p53 ou un mutant de la p53 présentant une délétion, une substitution ou une addition d'un ou de plusieurs acides aminés dans la p53 et une chaîne lourde de clathrine. Ce facteur transcriptionnel améliore la capacité transcriptionnelle du promoteur p53AIPI et donc induit l'apoptose dans des cellules cancéreuses.
