A transcriptional inhibitor for human K-ras gene which comprises one or more proteins selected from the group consisting of a protein having the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1, a protein having an amino acid sequence derived from the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 by substitution, deletion or addition of one to several amino acids and having an activity of inhibiting the transcription of human K-ras gene, and partial fragment proteins thereof having an activity of inhibiting the transcription of human K-ras gene. This transcriptional inhibitor for human K-ras gene specifically inhibits the transcription and expression of K-ras gene, which is an oncogene, in a human cancer cell. Thus, it can inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells and induce the reversion of cancer cells into normal cells, which makes it usable as an anticancer agent with little side effects on normal cells.
L~invention concerne un inhibiteur de transcription du gène humain K-ras, qui comprend une ou plusieurs protéines sélectionnées parmi le groupe composé d~une protéine dont la séquence d~acides aminés est représentée par l~ID SEQ N°:1, une protéine ayant une séquence d~acides aminés dérivée de la séquence d~acides aminés représentée par l~ID SEQ N°:1 par substitution, délétion ou ajout d~un ou plusieurs acides aminés et dont l~activité consiste à inhiber la transcription du gène humain K-ras, ainsi que des fragments de cette protéine dont l~activité consiste à inhiber la transcription du gène humain K-ras. Cet inhibiteur de transcription du gène humain K-ras inhibe de manière spécifique la transcription et l~expression du gène K-ras, qui est oncogène, à l~intérieur d~une cellule cancéreuse humaine. Par conséquent, il est capable d~inhiber la prolifération de cellules cancéreuses et d~induire la réversion des cellules cancéreuses en cellules normales ; il peut donc être utilisé en tant qu'agent anticancéreux présentant peu d~effets secondaires sur les cellules normales.
