Transducer apparatus for subsurface use. A tubular configured for subsurface disposal is equipped with a cylindrical transducer module (30) formed of a non-conductive material. The module (30) is mounted to surround a section of the tubular and includes a transducer element (34) disposed thereon such that only a surface of the element (34) is exposed along the exterior of the module body (30). The transducer element (34) is linked to a lead routed through the cylindrical body (30) to exit near the inner bore of the body. The ends of the cylindrical body (30) are covered with a material (38) to form a hydraulic seal. A method for constructing the transducer apparatus.
L'invention concerne un appareil transducteur pour utilisation souterraine. Un élément tubulaire destiné au stockage souterrain est équipé d'un module (30) transducteur cylindrique à base d'un matériau non conducteur. Le module (30) est monté de façon à envelopper une section de l'élément tubulaire sur lequel est placé un élément transducteur (34), ainsi seule une surface de l'élément est exposée le long de l'extérieur du corps du module (30). L'élément transducteur (34) est relié à un conduit acheminé traversant le corps cylindrique (30) pour sortir à proximité de l'alésage interne du corps. Les extrémités du corps cylindrique (30) sont revêtues d'un matériau (38) de façon à former un joint hydraulique. L'invention concerne enfin un procédé de construction de l'appareil transducteur.
