Abstract-of the Disclosure A transducer for the measurement of a polyphase current independent of frequency has a laminated magnetic core consisting of two rings separated from one another by a gap. At this gap there are slots with a winding connec- ted to the polyphase current system to be measured. Over the circumference of the yoke of the core there is wound a measuring winding which has no magnetic linkage with the polyphase winding. This measuring winding is sup- plied with measuring voltage of sufficiently high frequency for the variation in impedance in the measuring winding due to the variation in magnetic flux in the yoke to be measured.
