The invention concerns a device for connecting a fixed telephone network (PSTN) to a telephone switch (SW) located in an isolated community, via a mobile telephone network (PLMN) derived from the GSM type, and comprising at least a satellite (S); a plurality of fixed user terminals (UT1, ...., UT100) being connected to said telephone switch. Said device comprises a plurality of mobile telephone fixed terminals (RTa, ...., RTn), and a transfer control point (TCP), coupling the fixed network (PSTN) to a mobile telephone network switch (MSC), to manage dynamically the assignment of the connections (Ca, Cb, ..., Cn) carried by said mobile telephone fixed terminals (RTa, ..., RTn), to telephone communications set up between the fixed telephone network (PSTN) and the user terminals (UT1, ..., UT100) located in the isolated community. The invention is applicable to telephone service in isolated communities.

Ce dispositif permet de relier un réseau téléphonique fixe (PSTN) à un commutateur téléphonique (SW) situé dans une région isolée, via un réseau radiotéléphonique (PLMN) de type dérivé du type GSM, et comportant au moins un satellite (S); une pluralité de terminaux d'usager fixes (UT1, ..., UT100) étant reliée à ce commutateur téléphonique. Ce dispositif comporte une pluralité de terminaux radiotéléphoniques (RTa, ..., RTn) fixes, et un point de contrôle de transfert (TCP), couplant le réseau fixe (PSTN) à un commutateur (MSC) du réseau radiotéléphonique, pour gérer dynamiquement l'affectation des jonctions (Ca, Cb, ..., Cn) supportées par ces terminaux radiotéléphoniques (RTa, ..., RTn) fixes, aux communications téléphoniques établies entre le réseau téléphonique fixe (PSTN) et les terminaux d'usager (UT1, ..., UT100) situés dans la région isolée. Application: service téléphonique dans des régions isolées.
