ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The specification describes a transfer cylinder for perfector printing presses with two sheet carrier surfaces each of which is formed by two intermeshing sheet carrier combs. One sheet carrier comb has a device for gripping the front edge of the sheet and at least one of the two intermeshing sheet carrier combs is adjustable with respect to the other about the rotational axis of the transfer cylinder. The sheet carrier surfaces or at least a portion thereof, are radially adjustable.
