ABSTRACT Imageable products are described which can be made into dry transfer materials and other sorts of transfer material by imaging them in an electrophotographic copier. They consist basically of a substrate having releaseably adhered thereto first a layer of adhesive and over that a toner accepting non-adhesive layer. The non-adhesive layer is insufficiently strong to be stripped from the base using its own film strength but it can be removed from the base by an areal adhesion process. For example it may be heat sealed to a sign sheet and the base then stripped away.
