- 1 - Abstract: A transfer sheet comprises a flexible substrate, a laminated image part composed of a metal layer and a printed film layer, and an adhesive layer formed on -the image part. The printed film layer has an elongation at its breaking point greater than approximately 4%, and has a thickness greater than approximately 4 µm. The peel strength between the sub- strate and the metal layer is smaller than approximately 10 g/25mm width, and the adhesion strength between the metal layer and the printed film layer and between the printed film layer and the adhesive layer is greater than approximately 4 kg/cm2. Because of these values, the transfer sheet permits the image part including the metal layer to be released with- out breakage and provides improved transfer characteristics, especially onto curved surfaces.
