A transfer belt of a web press with an extended press gap for drying a paper web includes a support belt, in particular a woven or machined belt, a water-resistant polymer layer needled onto the support belt, and a fibrous surface layer arranged on the polymer layer.
L'invention concerne une bande de transfert (1) de presse humide à fente de presse prolongée pour sécher une bande de papier, qui comprend une voie support (11), notamment tissée ou maillée, une structure fibreuse sensiblement polymère épinglée à la manière du feutre sur la voie support et présentant des fibres aptes à la fusion. Cette structure fibreuse est déformée en une couche polymère dans une large mesure imperméable à l'eau, au moins par sections, par processus thermomécaniques. La bande de transfert comprend en outre un couche superficielle fibreuse disposée sur la couche polymère.
