TRANSFER/UNLOADING SYSTEM FOR TUBE VEHICLES ABSTRACT The proposed system is using a closed monorail loop having a closed linked grabbing mechanism for tube vehicles driven by only one drive. This system is picking the containers or tube vehicles at the end of the tube at low speed and is doing three functions at once:the trans- fer from one tube to another,the driving of the containers or tube vehicles from one tube to another and the unloading function if the said loop is at the unloading end.A set of followers and cams plus the drive do the above functions and the movement of the tube vehi- cles .The system is eliminating the unloading station,the separate drives-ussually two for each end of the tube system and eliminates also the large transfer system for transfering the tube vehicles from one tube to another in a tube transpprt system.
