The present invention relates to a method for the production and secretion into animal's semen of an exogenous recombinant protein comprising the steps of: a) producing a transgenic animal characterized by an expression system comprising a promoter specific for the genital tract or accessory glands operatively linked to an exogenous DNA sequence coding for the recombinant protein through a DNA sequence coding for a signal peptide effective in secreting and maturing the recombinant protein in genital tract tissue; b) collecting semen produced by said transgenic animal; and c) isolating the exogenous recombinant protein from the semen.
La présente invention a trait à un procédé permettant la production et la sécrétion dans la semence d'un animal d'une protéine recombinante exogène. Ce procédé comprend les étapes suivantes qui consistent à a) produire un animal transgénique caractérisé par un système d'expression comportant un agent promoteur spécifique au tractus génital ou aux glandes accessoires liées de manière fonctionnelle à une séquence d'ADN exogène codant la protéine recombinante par l'intermédiaire d'une séquence d'ADN codant un peptide signal efficace lors de la sécrétion et de la maturation de la protéine recombinante dans les tissus du tractus génital; b) à recueillir la semence produite par ledit animal transgénique; et c) à isoler la protéine recombinante exogène à partir de la semence.
