Disclosed is a transition metal nitride obtained by nitriding the surface of a base which is composed of a transition metal or an alloy of a transition metal. The transition metal nitride has an M4N-type crystal structure and an .epsilon.-M2-3N-type crystal structure, and is formed all over the base surface continuously from the surface to the inside in the depth direction.
La présente invention concerne un nitrure de métal de transition obtenu par la nitruration de la surface d'une base qui est composée d~un métal de transition ou d~un alliage de métaux de transition. Le nitrure de métal de transition a une structure cristalline de type M4N et une structure cristalline de type .epsilon.-M2-3N et est formé sur la totalité de la surface de la base de manière continue de la surface vers l'intérieur dans la direction de la profondeur.
