TRANSMISSION NEUTRAL INTERLOCK Abstract of the Disclosure A transmission control system includes an interface which receives manual and electrical inputs. Electrical inputs are received by a stepping motor. The stepping motor has a plurality of energizable coils, one side of which is coupled to a potential source via an auto/manual switch which is connected in series with a neutral interlock switch. When either is open, the switches prevent inadvertent energization of the stepping motor coils.
