A method for providing control information for a multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) in network access equipment is provided. The method includes separating a multicast control channel of an MBMS transmission into a first portion and a second portion, placing in the first portion information related to the second portion, and placing in the second portion information related to receiving a multicast traffic channel portion of the MBMS transmission.
L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à fournir des informations de commande pour un service de diffusion/multidiffusion multimédia (MBMS) dans un équipement d'accès de réseau. Le procédé consiste à séparer un canal de commande de multidiffusion d'une transmission MBMS en une première partie et une seconde partie, à mettre en place dans la première partie des informations relatives à la seconde partie, et à mettre en place dans la seconde partie des informations relatives à la réception d'une partie de canal de trafic multidiffusion de la transmission MBMS.
