A transmitter (10) coupled to a control loop (16) which carries a loop current senses a process variable which is transmitted over the loop (16). Circuitry in the transmitter presents an effective capacitance Ceff to the control loop (16). The transmitter (10) includes an isolation network coupled between the circuitry (14) and the control loop (18) which prevents discharge of energy stored in capacitance Ceff into the control loop (16).
Un transmetteur (10) couplé à un circuit de réglage (16), dans lequel circule un courant de réglage, détecte une variable de processus qui est transmise par le circuit (16). Les circuits du transmetteur apportent une capacitance effective (C¿eff?) au circuit de réglage (16). Le transmetteur (10) comporte un réseau d'isolation couplé entre les circuits (14) et le circuit de réglage (18), pour prévenir une décharge de l'énergie, emmagasinée du fait de la capacitance effective C¿eff?, dans le circuit de réglage (16).
