A transmission device includes: means for performing inverse Fourier transform on a signal for which a reference signal and a data signal have been mapped on respective sub-carriers; and means for radio-transmitting a transmission signal. A total power assigned for a signal which is transmitted in a certain time slot is maintained at the same level as the total power assigned for a signal which is transmitted in another time slot. The power density of the reference signal per unit band is set greater than the power density of the data signal per unit band. Since the total transmission power in each time slot is maintained at a constant level, the power amplification efficiency can be maintained at a high level. Moreover, since the reference signal is transmitted with a higher intensity than the other signals, the channel estimation accuracy is also maintained at a high level.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de transmission qui comprend : des moyens pour effectuer une transformée de Fourier inverse sur un signal pour lequel un signal de référence et un signal de données ont été mappés sur des sous-porteuses respectives ; et des moyens pour radio-transmettre un signal de transmission. Une puissance totale attribuée pour un signal qui est transmis dans un certain intervalle de temps est conservée au même niveau que la puissance totale attribuée pour un signal qui est transmis dans un autre intervalle de temps. La densité de puissance du signal de référence par bande unitaire est réglée supérieure à la densité de puissance du signal de données par bande unitaire. Étant donné que la puissance de transmission totale dans chaque intervalle de temps est maintenue à un niveau constant, l'efficacité d'amplification de puissance peut être maintenue à un niveau élevé. De plus, étant donné que le signal de référence est transmis avec une intensité supérieure aux autres signaux, la précision d'estimation de canal est également maintenue à un niveau élevé.
